Towards future victories – Vasaloppet's digital advertising business in focus

Vasaloppet has built up a strong digital presence over many years through its own channels such as Vasaloppet.se, Vasaloppetsappen, Vasaloppet.tv, Skidspår.se and digital arena advertising. In order to develop and future-proof the business around digital advertising, Vasaloppet chose to bring in external expertise.

The assignment went to Destination Technology and Lars-Börje “Bulan” Eriksson, who was given the responsibility of analyzing the situation and providing data for future decisions.

The survey covered three main areas:

  • Business models and revenues
  • Offers and content
  • Organization and processes

The purpose was to create a stable foundation for future development and revenue optimization in Vasaloppet's digital advertising and media business.
